In class we learned about the ADDIE model and I had the opportunity to apply this to my own instructional design unit. ADDIE stands for Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. My unit is based on teaching fourth grade students at Perry Local Schools how to recognize and create their own limerick poem. My main goal is to present the information in an engaging manner that will get students excited about poetry.
